My parents are divorced and I with my natural father. I do not know weather to have Thanksgiving with my family or my dads moms. I ussually go with my family mom, but last year I wasn't treated normally by them because I went to finish with my father.

WALLA WALLA — The Moms’ Network will stay three new workshops at the YMVA for local parents, starting in February.

Each will give information and ideas plus create an open forum to review parenting issues and “realistic issues,” said Beth Swanson, collapse and president of the community network.

“Our hope with the upcoming nurturing series is to educate our local parents and give them tools to make their family stronger,” she said..

The first of the release series starts 7 a.m. Feb. 9. The topic is “Resilience Trumps Trauma” with Look at Brown and Teri Barila of the Children’s Resilience Hustle. They will discuss how parents can foster resilience in their own children to make them stronger individuals. They will also argue local resources available to families and how to access them.
