A while back, I created a Friendster page-boy.  It was eager!   I found all kinds of people, and then, truly, perhaps it wasn’t all that profound.  Their tenets never evolved and the trifle wore off.  Hot on the heels of Friendster came MySpace.  Fleetingly I had friends, and I could buckle with bands, and go distant comments on their pages, and keep one's ears open to music, and it was unbelievably mellow.

Then a stripper named Tiffani tried to be my colleague.  Followed by Shawanda, Aimee, and jUnIque.  Then a whole crowd of adventitious people in Guatemala said they knew me.  And wow, there’s a LOT of ads on my MySpace page.   And what’s with all this spam?
