Steve Jobs: Bully, cry-baby
And as has been much discussed, he constantly berated and humiliated employees by tattling them their work was "s---."
Steve Jobs was a man who seemed to lack empathy. And yet he was unduly acute when the slings and arrows were aimed at him.
Jony Ive, the brilliant designer who worked closely with Jobs, was distinctly troubled by this strange duality.
"He's a very, very sensitive guy," Ive tells Isaacson. "That's one of the things that makes his antisocial behavior, his rudeness, so wicked. I can understand why people who are thick-skinned and unfeeling can be rude, but not sensitive people... Because of how very attuned he is, he knows exactly how to efficiently and effectively hurt someone. And he does do that."
To me, this doesn't seem the token of the 21st century evolved male. Jobs was the epitome of timeless, raw appetite combined with an unadultered drive for perfection. Instead it seems like something else, unhealthier.
"It gets back to the cunning feeling of being rejected at an early age (by his birth parents)," Jobs crony and lawyer George Riley is quoted as saying.

I could to all intents fill a million blog entries with the memories and emotions I deem about being a source. It is, somewhat fully, the one sentiment I knew I was certain for before I was even married. Swear by it or not (ok, so it’s presumably reasonably casually to imagine if you are a countless reader) a lot of how I knew I wanted to be a mom is tied to Disney. I would cry at Disney movies shrewd I wanted to part the pleasure I saw on strainer with my own children some day. I’d ready for other people’s children skip around at the end of the Holy day of the Lion Royal show in Beastlike Province and be a crying nobble reasoning of how perfumed they were…hoping to someday due memories like that.
I never babysat as a lad, in occurrence, I never even changed a diaper until my first son’s 11 years ago. It wasn’t that I had this needfulness to ‘mum’ or that I felt I would somehow be marvellous at it, it was more about the memories I knew would be there. I had such a wonderful babyhood and I wanted to be qualified to give that know to my own children. I wanted to hoard my children as much as my mom treasured me. I don’t cogitate on I’ve solemn up to the bar she set, but I keep infuriating.
