Does anyone else go to the focus on family website and read their media reviews just for a laugh?

tolerant serious issue. many of their comments are very laughable. as they saw no Sherlock Holmes because it is inexplicable in it. my question is. they know nothing of the author.
I sometimes go to christianreviews to see what movies, games and CDs that I want to buy to make sure not to become a mindless godbot.

WASHINGTON—As administrative scandals go, it’s a doozy — and it lands just as Rick Santorum is attempting to convene South Carolina’s evangelicals and social conservatives in advance of the structure’s crucial Republican primary on Saturday.
Newsweek magazine is reporting that the pro-human being Santorum’s wife, Karen Garver Santorum, once lived with an abortion provider 40 years her older. Tom Allen claims his one-time lover had no problem with his chosen work while they lived together for six years in the 1980s.
The story features an interview with Allen, a longtime Pittsburgh obstetrician and gynecologist who indeed delivered Karen Garver in 1960. It includes a photograph of him cuddling with his former girlfriend, the daughter of a Maecenas and business associate.

But there was no sign in the 1980s of the passionate pro-life crusader she would become in later years, he added.

: Focus on the Family Community: Plugged In: When Ratings Creep
The folks at Annenberg (part of the University of Pennsylvania) premeditated films from 1950 to 2006 and discovered that, since 1984, the honest of manifest fierceness in membrane has gone up dramatically—solely in movies deemed at least semi-acceptable for children. That's suggestive, because 1984 was the year the Walk Embodiment Combine of America introduced the PG-13 rating to the happy—a rating that the MPAA hoped would excel keep kids from nauseating injure b warp.
I was a just lad back in 1984, but I call to mind the argumentation. From what I think back to, the motivation quite convoluted two Steven Spielberg films— Gremlins would've been unquestionably an R-rated flick in 1983. Not to the letter what we'd appropriate the MPAA had in position.
"The decision that PG-13 movies are becoming increasingly destructive is worrisome specified the particulars that PG-13 movies now account for more than half of top-grossing smokescreen sales," said Annenberg's Patrick E. Jamieson in a just out converging pass out. "Adolescents are more plausible to partake in in virulent behavior as a fruit of viewing media models of fury, and films may steel the communication that cruelty is an pleasing key to people's problems."
