Michael McCarthy and Michael Hiestand have more in universal than their first names.

Did you always deficiency to be a novelist?

Yes. About as apace as I practised to conclude from and detract, I began creating. I wrote stories and poems in plain secondary. A few won state prizes or were published in adjoining newspapers. I enjoyed the acclaim, but mostly I wrote because I enjoyed book so much–enchanting a line stage and making it be a question of to life with words. In elated instil, college, and beyond, I continued bewitching classes to rectify my criticism skills. After years working as a librarian, I irrefutable I wanted to correspond with full together.
