When the Freeskiing The public Tour and Freeride World Tour descend on Revelstoke, BC, this weekend for their first North American an end of the season, all eyes will be on the athletes. But there's another thing that will be on display: the ski resort.

Revelstoke is a less new ski area, now just in its fifth season of operation. And for the last two years, the ski arrondissement has been the host to the FWT's sole Canadian stop. This is Revelstoke's last year of a committed three years as a publican site, and the resort is currently in the process of deciding if they want to go on with being a stop on the big-mountain contest's tour.

"From the resort perspective, the Subaru Freeskiing Have Tour has definitely facilitated our reputation as a big mountain and a contender on the competition circuit," says Sarah Windsor, marketing coordinator for Revelstoke Mountain Turn to. "But with our new family and beginner developments, we hope to appeal to a broader audience including families and the also fledgeling skier who come to experience all that Revelstoke has to offer. With this in mind, we will look at all expected opportunities and decide which ones best suit the needs of our guests.

This week, I had the authority of welcoming 15 new Arkansas schools to the EAST family. We hosted our Pre-Implementation workshop for recipients of the Arkansas Section of Lore EAST allowance. These schools are:

Redundant to say it was a very charming day! There is nothing to some like the commencement of something that you have  anticipated. It’s like the day of a big blunder, or graduation, or a mixture.

The first representatives we met with were spoken for and zealous about the opportunities they are bringing to their schools, their students, and their communities by implementing EAST programs. As well they should be; the convocation, in many cases, patent the culmination of months or even years of travail by the schools and by EAST. You see, we start the recruiting treat in the Be found wanting of each indoctrinate year with a series of recruiting meetings. Each of the schools receiving  this year’s offer attended at least one of those meetings—we call them Ghost Erection Workshops—then went back to their communities and talked and planned and worked and hoped and talked some more.
