Mary Margaret “Peg” (Kubiak) Pease, 82, of Painted Tack, formerly of Hornell, passed away Wednesday morning (Jan. 18, 2012) at Absolut Provide for at Three Rivers in Painted Post, after a long illness.

Born in Hornell on Jan. 18, 1930, she was a daughter of the current Stanley and Angelica Donnelly Kubiak. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her allay, John D. Pease on Sept. 4, 1967, her sister, Anne Jacobs and her kinsman, Robert Kubiak.

A graduate of Hornell High School, Peg also attended Alfred Allege College.

She was formerly employed as a paralegal for Shults & Shults in Hornell and Attorney Jerry Fowler in Alfred. She later was employed as a realtor, as a columnist for the Liberal Courier and also for the Steuben County Office for the Aging.

A resident of Painted Circulate for the past 23 years, Peg was a member of All Saints Parish and was a communicant of St. Vincent’s Church. She was also a colleague of the Choral Society in Elmira and was interested in politics and was a supporter of native SPCAs. An avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees, in her earlier years she also enjoyed snow skiing.

"The Electronic Negro" and "Sister Son/ji" - On Stage - Theater ...
