How can I ask the number of a child in his/her family (in English)?

Hello there;
I am not President Lingo English, but my English is not bad.
To tell you the truth, I do not know how to ask for the number of children in a family.

In addition to the question might be: "What is your birth order in your family."

Your statement: "I am the third child born to my parents" or "I am the third descendant of my family."
